Levin Trails - Kohitere Forest

The Levin Mtb Club looks after the trails in the Kohitere Forest. Back in the day the singletrack could only be accessed via a steep forestry road. The Club completed a dedicated climbing trail which is easier and safer, named Kurts Track, and you head downhill via The Edge. The Slush Fund contributed with some essential building materials back in 2009. The Forest has played host to the NZ Secondary Schools' Mtb Champs until 2012.
