Miramar Track Project

01 September 2012

A small group of volunteers are always busy maintaining the trail network based in the Centennial Reserve on the southern slopes of Mt Crawford in the Wellington suburb of Miramar. The Ground Effect Slush Fund helped out with some tools right back at the beginning of the project. They have made huge progress and completed a bunch of now Welly famous trails including Solitary, Conviction, Jail Brake, Bootleg, Repeat Offender, Juvie, Chopper plus Kids Track.

Good idea to check out the Maupuia Cycle and Walkway and Pike Ki Maupuia whilst you're in the hood.

The project also plants hundreds of native seedlings each year.

Follow the Miramar Track Project and find out when you can volunteer to help out on Facebook.
