Whangamatā Ridges MTB Park
Located just five minutes from the Whangamata Township on State Highway 25, the Whangamatā Ridges Mtb Park features some fantastic singletrack riding. The Grade 2-5 trails provide a massive amount of fun and enjoyment for everyone, from families to advanced riders.
Set in Matariki Forest, a mixture of native bush, pine forest, and some recently cleared forest terrain, Whangamata Mtb Park riders will experience exciting downhills and climbs that reward the effort with spectacular views of ocean and forest.
In 2013 Ground Effect slush funded 34 new signs to light the trails, and we even have a kids track named after us, the 'Ground Effect Grundie Grinder'. Follow the bike park on Facebook.
