Simply the best jacket in all ways- does the job 150% Looks smart and very comfortable. Thankyou Team Jenny
Antidote was certainly fit for purpose on our West Coast Wilderness Cycle trail recently and fitted well. Long back section kept the seat relatively dry and the long arms kept the wrists away from the sandflies. No heavy rain to test the waterproofness but it kept the wind out and the neck warm.
My wife and I purchased a Storm Trooper Jacket (for me) and an Antidote (for her) for cycling a year or so back. We had never really given them a good test up until recently we walked the Milford Track early December and I can clearly say they were tested to the max. It rain 2 out of 3 days on the track the last day 6 hours solid, we can say these jackets got Milford tested, both of us were completely dry under our jackets. I would go as far as saying we were the only ones in our group to not have wet layers under our jackets, so I guess these are Milford waterproof.
Rode the Munda Biddi in West Aus, great fit, really comfy. Fits great when walking but really comes into its own when riding, arms out is comfortable, keeps your bum dry, long arms to cover wrists. The ventilation is great for humid riding. I’m a size 12 Aus, very happy with the size 14 as it provides extra room for breathability and some extra clothes if cold. Worth the investment!!!
I have just completed a winter trip around the K500 loop in Kahurangi and used this jacket. The jacket performed really well. I liked the pocket position and the vents on the arms which worked really well. I only had a couple of hours of light rain and the jacket was waterproof enough. I would like to see how it goes with a full on day of rain. I only gave it 4 stars because I would like to see how this jacket performs over a 2-3 year (and beyond) time period.
