As we move into the warmer months we can finally start exposing a bit more skin. How about starting with the end of your digits, leaving your thumb still cocooned in warm synthetic suede? These fingerless Quickdraw gloves have a full length thumb and three-quarter index finger which stops the material gathering, and also offers the best abrasion resistance while providing good grip. However the black suede palms are cushioned with quite thick foam padding which creates a vague feel on the handlebar, making them more suited to very thin grips. The lycra backing keeps the glove snug on your hands and a velcro closer keeps them on, while the panel of towelling across the back and up the thumb is enough to remove any dribbles from your fizzog.
Performance: 7 /10; Value: 8/10
Verdict: The thick padded palm makes them most suited with thin grips.

Washing Instructions?
> Ground Effect gloves enjoy a warm machine wash. Try to avoid cold-water detergents and those with bleach. The cold-water varieties have little enzymes that are super-charged to brave the cold but can damage technical fabrics and cause skin irritation. Bleach may attack the WindFoil laminate and can also cause irritation. As a rule of thumb, product that is easy on the planet is also easy on your body. Plant based soaps like 'Ecover' or specific sport wash formula are recommended.
