Mt Somers Mtb Race

Established by the Mayfield Lions in 2006 the Mt. Somers Mountain Bike Race offers 3 mtb rides, and a walk for all ages and all capabilities. It’s a day the whole family can enjoy. With the event starting and finishing on Mt Somers Station, competitors will journey through captivating landscape that weaves around grassland, tussock, shady forests and flourishing native bush of the historic station.

The Hokonui Radio MTB Challenge 31km course
Competitive racers will fly down invigorating descents and grind up steep inclines as this demanding course winds it way through the beautiful Mt Somers Station.

RDR Foothills Race 23km course
Blending the captivating landscape of the Acland family’s working farm with a challenging, yet immensely rewarding ride, the course is ideal for those less experienced riders.

Big Al’s Lowland MTB 17km course
A race which caters for everybody and every level of fitness, an easy ride.
