Thanks For Your Review
We value your feedback. If you're stoked with your Ground Effect kit then you might like to share it (the review not the gear) with your mates. Thanks again.
Kept me warm on recent Heaphy Track MTB ride in torrential rain and very cold conditions underneath my StormTrooper. Worked extremely well by itself too. I combined it with a Submerino, and can vouch that the layering system worked very well indeed. I stayed dry and warm.
This is for my partners. Christmas. It is the fourth one we have bought . The first two had the bold colour on the back and the two wide back pockets . The quality of the first ones were exceptional. The newest ones show more wear and tear especially if you wear a back pack
I just bought the Frosty Boy going into the winter season here in UK. This garment is superbly made and finished per normal standard for Ground Effect kit. I was surprised how light and thin it was when it arrived, but the construction is spot on. For riding as the temperature gets down towards freezing it is perfectly judged, being warm enough but not too hot. The long front zip is ideal to regulate temperature. As others have noted, a way to make the sleeve cuffs fit tighter would be beneficial to stop cold air going up the arms, but this isn't an issue once warmed up.
This is the only cycling item you'll need until the temps drop well below freezing. Frosty keeps you warm in the cold and even facing a howling wind. I may need to buy another one so I'm not out of luck while it's in the wash
