Just rode in a fierce southwest wind with these and then a coffee. Perfect for both occasions.
My third pair. They just don’t wear out and the fit is very comfortable and relaxed. Good value.
When it's warm, I live in the Supertankers (got 3), and when it's cold, I live in these (got 2). Comfortable, robust, durable, dirt and mud mostly brushes off when it dries, and washing and drying is quick too. A typical day in the life of these trousers will involve some combination of commuting between 30 and 60km in 0-10deg.C (Supertankers when it warms up), knocking around in a bike workshop, knocking around in the garden, knocking around inside, walking the dog, and if I'm too tired to take them off, then sleeping in them. The fit is also quite impressive - I'm 177cm tall and 80cm waist, so kinda skinny for my height, and the smalls are long enough for me. The funny looking baggy bum is comfortable on the saddle. My only suggestion for a change - applies to the shorts too - ditch the rear pocket, as the stitching gets rubbed out from pedalling, and then you have a useless pocket. And hopefully you realise before you lose anything.
I bought my third pair recently-just in case they stopped making the Ranchsliders. No chance of that I suspect !
