Scare your friends during Halloween or sneak in as an extra on a Vincent Ward movie. Made from 4-way stretch Hot Shot™ Merino, the Baked Beanie occupies minimal room under your helmet while its WindFoil™ band saves your ears from biting winds.
▹ Man vs Wild
Merino is unrivalled for comfort as a body layer. It absorbs more moisture than synthetic fibres, mopping up excess sweat rather than letting it settle and cool on your skin. However high-aerobic activities like cycling will often overload ordinary merino. Heatwave's polyester component repels moisture to avoid total saturation of the fabric - so it dries faster to keep you toasty.
▹ Snug-as-a-Bug Fit
Heatwave™ Merino tops are intended to hug your body, ensuring the fabric sits against your skin to wick sweat away - keeping you dry and not chilling out.
▹ Hot 'n' Cold
As a single garment Heatwave™ Merino regulates your temperature through a wide range of conditions. Delivering comfort in all but the hottest climes. Yet it is versatile enough to layer under a WindFoil™, microFoil™ or HydroFoil™ shell in winter.
▹ Why is Heatwave Merino so comfortable next-to-skin?
bought 2 one for me and one for my wife . Fantastic to stick on the noggin when it's chilly , makes the whole ride more cosy , plus looks good on as well .Really well made so sure to last a few winters .
Great service. Beanie a beauty. Even got me an odd glove after having ONE! of mine stolen together with bike and whole 9 yards. Thanks guys
I bought a "Baked Beanie" 'cause my head was getting cold while riding home late from work. When the package arrived I pulled the beanie from its wrapping and my first thought was "what have I just spent money on?" The thing was so thin. It was a cold day and the package had just arrived in time for my ride to work, so I donned the beanie under my helmet and headed off. What a difference it made. Especially as it covers down to my ears, but because it is thin it doesn't obstruct my hearing of my surrounds. Glad I got it. Things are not always what they seem.
I Wore my baked beanie today in Hawkes Bay the weather was fine. It very cold. My baked Beanie kept my head And ears Wa And toaster Now All I need is a Scruff for my alps to Ocean bike ride On September
Really warm but could do with being a bit bigger as it constantly needs pulling down.
