I've done three of the rides in this book over Christmas New Year after having been inspired reading it. I thought I knew this area well but the Kennetts have opened some new country for me. Good, accurate notes and very readable.
Living in Switzerland you could say we are spoiled for choice which we are ! the Jura the pre alps the alps Swiss Austria France , but in between seasons what to do ? this is where NZ comes in Mountains the sea the bush subtropical forests fjords and as i found through Mtb rides North and south some good single track and trails all though not as long as some trails in Europe, inspiring and its Summer Time !!! . So good descriptive guides with ample information concerning would recommend this guide to serious, beginners and casual mountain Bikers . Keep in Turning !
