Osprey backpack

Love this backpack. It is easy to adjust, lots of different compartments to store stuff. I took it on holiday recently and was very useful as carry on luggage to plane

Escapist 32

I have the Escapist 32 backpack for several weeks now for commuting by bike between home and work. Once I got used to utilizing the different compartments I find there is enough room to cope with bike repair gear, change of clothing, lunch etc. Found it a bit troublesome to take the laptop in it. My previous bag was better suited to commuting because of this aspect. Can't fault the Escapist 32 in any other way. It fitted me perfectly from day 1 and feels very secure when riding eg it does not slip around on my back and the insulation layer keeps me cool when riding hard. Nice touches are the pouches on the shoulder straps as long as the items are not bulky as it affects how the pack fits to the body. Putting my wallet on one side and the cellphone on the other did cause the pack to sit off centre which felt uncomfortable on the journey. So I only use the pouches for things like earplugs, loyalty cards etc. I also found the clipon for keys handy. All in all a great backpack I happily recommend to others. Just think of all the uses you might put the backpack for before committing to a purchase.

Great bag

Osprey make such good bags, we have a few. This was no exception. Purchased for my partner after Ground Effect recommended it for over-nighters like the Old Ghost Road. It was perfect. Happy fella :-)

Osprey 32

When I received the bag i was a little taken back as it did not seem what I had expected. What I know now is it is perfectly designed for bicycle riders. The set up allows me to organise all my gear, this has really impressed me as I can cater for all my gear (layers, work clothes, lap top etc) easily. The feel of the bag when I am riding is also a positive. It sits well and is hardly noticeable. Finally the easy to reach pockets make access to travel cards etc easy too..

My wife is using it, as we tour through Cambodia, at present, she finds it sits well, comfortable and has lots of pockets for all of her stuff! Will review other items when l get back to NZ.
