Te Miro MTB Park - Waikato

The Te Miro Mountain Bike Park is based on a Council reserve between Cambridge and Morrinsville in the Waikato. There has been a big improvement in the track system by a small group of extremely enthusiastic track builders from the Te Miro Mountain Bike Club. Fortunately the forest is not scheduled to be harvested as it now has recreational reserve status with the Council.

'PD Track' is probably the most used track in the Park. Mainly downhill, of intermediate grade (G3), approximately 900m in length, it runs on a wide corridor through a maturing pine forest with a good canopy. The Slush Fund paid for digger hire to make switchbacks and jumps on the 'PD Track' more user-friendly. Keep up with the latest via Facebook.
