I wanted some bright-as lights for my son to use while cycling at night around Wellington. These do the trick nicely. The front light doesn’t light the road but you will be seen. Plus they are compact and easy to remove and recharge.

The lights work well and have an impressive intensity and a variety of patterns. USB charging is great....I made a rookie error and tried charging with a 3rd party cable. Works for the front light, but the rear is a little more needy and requires the supplied cable for trouble-free charging, otherwise the rubber seal pushes against the cable head and breaks the connection. Thanks Scott for illuminating this rookie.

Use for commute. Bright. Seem robust (2 months so far) including winter rain. I can't seem to get them to charge to 100% but they last several days anyway.
