Great jacket that has kept me warm but best thing, completely dry. Highly recommended
First some positives: nice and bright, lightweight and feels like a quality product. I haven’t needed to ride in the rain yet, but I think it will be good. Now for the fit. I’m “pear shaped”, short in the back and long in the neck. The medium only just (and I mean in a slides up kinda way) fits, the arms are an ok length for me, I’m 167cm tall with “standard” arms :). The collar is really high, and a bit uncomfortable. A little more give in the hips and lower collar would have suited me better.
It’s beautiful and well made. Does everything you need a jacket to do. Waterproof and comfy to ride in.I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
Absolutely happy with my new rain jacket however a sip under the arms when sweating would be great
Yesterday my sister and I spent three hours riding through heavy rain and driving southerlies back from an overnighter (great way to introduce sister to cycle touring?). Metservice forecast was up to 8mm rain or so per hour, so a real downpour. The 3-4cm around the cuff were a bit damp, everywhere else dry. The deep collar, which may seem overkill around town, really came into its own when the rain was right in my face. Well cut so no parachute effect on me. I did sweat a bit into my base layers but no sweat beading on inside of jacket at all. My GE overtrou still going strong too.
