Perenuka MTB Park - Te Anau

Sitting on the edge of Fiordland National Park, the Perenuka Mountain Bike Park is ready to roll. The Simpson family have given up a hunk of hill on their family farm to develop 10km of trails for community use. Te Anau locals provided materials, tools and time, while Ground Effect came to the party with $1000 of timber and nails. Plans are afoot for another 10km of track in the near future. Caution - arresting views of Lake Te Anau can be a health hazard. Follow the park on Facebook.
