Tumut MTB Park - NSW

In late 2016 the Tumut Mountain Bike Riders approached the Ground Effect Slush Fund for a cash contribution towards their project to improve signage in theTumut Mountain Bike Park.

The Slush Fund said yes to $1000 and directional signage has been installed which includes the track name, distance, and skill rating, making the mtb park way more user friendly.

The Tumut Mountain Bike Park contains a complex network of trails with a total distance of approximately 25km. The trails have been hand built over several years by volunteers, with the support from NSW Forestry Corporation and Conservation Volunteers Australia. The network is still evolving and whilst Tumut doesn’t have a mtb club many local riders are members of MTB Wagga. The Slush Fund helped MTB Wagga back in 2012.
