Mountain Bike Wagga Inc. in NSW got busy in 2010 working with their local council to repair the trails at Pomingalarna Park. The council banned vehicles to help preserve a large pocket of threatened native flora and fauna. This allowed for a much needed upgrade of the mtb tracks once the 4WD and motorbike crowd had been moved on. Floods in 2010 exposed the need for some quality track benching and bridge building to make the network more sustainable. The Slush Fund covered the cost of a new chainsaw.
The Slush Fund helped out the nearby Tumut Mtb Riders in 2016.
