Your Rights Within Europe

How Do We Keep Your Personal information Secure?
We follow industry standards on information security management to safeguard ‘Personal Information’ entrusted to us. Our information security systems apply to people, processes and information technology systems on a risk management basis.

When ordering, your credit card information is sent directly to the credit card merchant. We do NOT store your credit card details on our system. Shopify, our web platform provider, performs annual audits to ensure handling of your credit card information aligns with industry guidelines. They are certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant service provider, which is the highest level of compliance available, and their platform is audited annually by a third-party qualified security assessor.

The checkout is secure. The pages are on a SSL secure server that encrypts the data at time of entry. The URL for the payment page starts with https. The 's' indicates that the site is secure. On most browsers you can click on the https to see the Security Certificate.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.

Data Retention
When you place an order through ‘groundeffect.co.nz’, we will maintain your ‘Order Information‘ for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
