Denniston Plateau

A small band of keen mountain bikers keep busy working on the network of tracks on the Denniston Plateau, inland from Westport on the West Coast of the South Island. The alpine ambiance, arresting views and all-weather surface make Denniston a must-visit when ticking off other great rides on the Coast, i.e. the Paparoa Track and the Old Ghost Road - check out our Blog for the Ground Effect weekend trip reports on both.
