The Karapoti Classic

The 40th Anniversary of the Southern Hemisphere's longest running mountain bike event. Based in Wellington's rugged Akatarawa Ranges, 10k north of Upper Hutt City. Combining a huge but achievable challenge with spectacular scenery and an awesome social scene, Karapoti is the event on every mountain biker's wish list.

There's something for everyone with three distances: The 50K Classic; The 20K Challenge; and Kids 5K Klassic.
