17 year old Hawkes Bay shredder Archie Elliott and Australian videographer Dominic Hook journeyed to Nelson Lakes National Park earlier this year. Based in one of the original St Arnaud bachs - built by Archie’s grandfather - they smashed the region’s newer and older trails. Plenty of hidden gems amongst the ancient beech and fern carpeted native bush, plus a magnificent setting nestled next to Lake Rotoiti, are all solid reasons to book a two wheel weekend exploring St Arnaud.
