Once dubbed ‘The World’s Fastest Privateer’, Jamie Nicoll’s story is worthy of Hollywood-Biopic. Suffering near-fatal burns while track building in South America, he battled back to score a factory ride on the Enduro World Series. Racing amongst the world’s best - he has won the Trans-Savoie, Mountain of Hell and NZ Enduro (twice) - and podiumed at Crankworx and Trans Provence.
Ground Effect and Jamie Nicoll have been mates through the highs and lows. We ramped up our support last season as he changed focus - adventuring with his bike to exotic and remote destinations, and competing in just a handful of his favourite enduros. Watch this space as we support Jamie again in 2017, first stop was the Dodzy Memorial Enduro at Waitangi Weekend where he finished a credible 12th amongst a stacked pro field.

In 2016 the Dodzy Memorial Enduro in February was followed by the NZ Enduro held on the second weekend of March. We are stoked to report that Jamie successfully defended his title. After finishing a credible 7th in the Trans Provence he was off to Canada for a win in the inaugural Trans BC Enduro. For the latest on Norwegian single track, check out Jamie's adventure here.
