After a few days based at Forest Lodge lapping out the 'world famous in NZ' Craigieburn Trails -  Deane Parker, Rose Green and Rod Harrhy tackle a variation on the classic Cass-Lagoon backcountry circuit. They take the 'direct line' up Craigieburn Valley ski field, drop into Cass Saddle and loop back to Lagoon Saddle. A big couple of days and sensational trip but it's tough and remote - best only tackled by experienced backcountry riders.
