Lake Tekapo Regional Park

MacKenzie Country locals got together in 2008 to develop the The Lake Tekapo/Tākapo Regional Park within existing forest on the south east edge of Lake Tekapo village. The intention was to foster a range of activities including mtbing. Ground Effect chipped in for the hire of some rock crushing equipment and donated a set of trail books. There are now 24 km of shared use tracks under various stages of development, graded easiest, easy and intermediate.
