Great Lake Trails - Taupō

Over a decade ago Bike Taupō was given the green light by the then Ministry of Tourism to complete the 88 km Great Lake Trails on the western shores of Lake Taupō. The 88 km Great Lakes Trails are part of Ngā Haerenga New Zealand Cycle Trails. The Slush Fund joined the party in 2011 by equipping the construction crew with a couple of chainsaws.
