Sainsbury Rd MTB Park - Mt Pirongia

Pirongia Mtb (formerly the Waipa Mountain Bike Club) administers the small but growing Sainsbury Road Mtb Park on Mt Pirongia, about 25kms south-west of Hamilton. The singletrack on offer has increased - it was time to move on from hand track signs scrawled on the back of real estate placards. Enter the Ground Effect Slush Fund to pay for some new signage. Posts were donated by ITM and Club members bored the holes. The 16 signs have been planted, watered and growing nicely. No excuses now for getting lost. Keep an eye on the club via Facebook.
