Mana Cycle Group - Wellington
The Mana Cycle Group promotes all types of cycle development in the Porirua-Tawa area of Wellington. They had a super busy 2015 building trails at Rangituhi-Colonial Knob, creating the Te Ara o Rangituhi - The Rangituhi Trails. This part of the Wellington Region had been devoid of decent singletrack. The trail is pretty unique given its proximity to the Porirua CBD, commuter rail, schools and businesses - nothing like whipping out for a dose of singletrack at lunch time. The Mana Cycle Group were after a decent scrub bar and the IMBA trail building book collection - the Ground Effect Slush Fund was keen to oblige.
