Project Rameka - Golden Bay
Project Rameka in Golden Bay has been waging an ongoing crowdfunding campaign to double the size of the Project Rameka Carbon Forest. Driven by the Jonathan Kennett and Bronwen Wall, they have raised $230,000 to successfully purchase the additional acres in 2017. The Ground Effect Slush Fund happily contributed $1000.
Ground Effect also helped out with Project Rameka branded tops to reward key contributors. Since then they have been working hard on opening the lower 3km of the historic Rameka Track. The next phase is to build a 12 metre bridge across Rameka Creek at the bottom of Great Expectations.
