Great jersey. Wore this last weekend whilst bike packing loop from Colville to top of the Coromandel. It was the only layer I wore and was perfect for the chilly morning starts, hot hill climbs and provided excellent sun protection and was cool enough.
Does everything it says in the description on website. Perfect for this time of year. Would recommend
I've worn my Berglar long sleeve top a couple of times since I was gifted it. This product is not really suitable for wearing in the summer. I found whilst cycling up hill that I got too hot even with the sleeves rolled up and the front zip right down. It's not really a summer top. It will be great in the Autumn, winter and spring when the weather has cooled. Also had to go out and buy different washing powder to use to clean the top as per the washing instructions to ensure material lasted as I consider an expensive top and don't want to reduce its lifespan.
Replacing a current full zip Berglar that suffered somewhat from a crash, but even that was not my first. My first was a partial-zip Berglar. I think the g/m2 weight of the fabric has been reduced over the years and the "hand" of the fabric of my new Berglar makes me wonder if the percentage of superfine merino has been reduced. That said, it is still an excellent jersey and I recommend it to others.
