Slave labour free, smell freer, and very comfortable. This shirt will last me with care for at least 5 years as I cycle every day, being carfree by choice. I amortize the price over 5 years and it works out nicely. A 5 star way to assist the world in comfort.
I think the wool weight of this shirt is too heavy. While it’s merino and should be good in summer, I’d have preferred a lighter-weight shirt, after all my Baked Alaska will keep me warm when it’s a bit cooler. That said, I haven’t used it on a really hot day yet, so I might be pleasantly surprised. I find the neck a bit of a strange fit. I bit more of a collar would be more comfortable, and help with sun protection. The length is good, I like that it has a nice long torso.
Apart from feeling like an extra from Star Trek, the top is fantastic. Wore it today, and it felt great, was comfortable and looked good too.
I was looking for that intermediate, utilitarian piece of bike gear that could go anywhere. Very pleased with. My Meridian strip after a couple hundred hours break in time. Quality is never an issue in fact, open around to use it and abuse it for the next 20 years because I know it will last. Most highly recommended.
