This is my favourite GE piece. Looks awesome, fits great. I wear it all the time.
I bought an Orange one at at the start of Winter, road tested it in Auckland and then in the Deep South Island through Rain, Ice and Snow. It seemed lonely, so I bought this Blue one to keep it company. Like the Orange one it keeps me toasty on the bike without overheating, looks cool in the Ponsonby Bars and makes me look even slimmer. I highly recommend this top whatever the colour :-)
My man loves his new riding top. A good in between seasons jersey. Good fit and well made.
I bought the Burnt Orange Neopolitan as I realised most of my Merino tops are Black or Gray and after a Bike accident wanted to be visible as winter approaches. Gave it the visibility/ warmth test in Auckland over the past few weeks and it passed with flying colours. ( I was warm and no cars hit me!) But there was another benefit...the Neopolitan makes me look skinny (well I have been trying to lose weight, but the top shows it!) We are now in Queenstown and just did the Lake Hayes / Lower Shotover bike trail in just a few degrees above zero...The Neopolitan kept me toasty without overheating aided by another merino singlet and an old Ground Effect Yellow shell from around 2014 (Afterburner? Ground Effect gear just lasts!) I'm so impressed by Ground Effect Gear and how it does the job as well as making me look like a model! I may yet buy a blue Neopolitan because I think my orange one needs company!
Great top for shoulder season riding. Fit is really comfortable. Pocket on side is perfect for the car key.
