The chart is a guide only. If you fall in-between sizes, the right size for you will depend on your body shape and how loose or tight you like to wear your clothes. Measurements refer to your body not the garment. Jackets and baggies are sized to fit over under-layers - so you should be the same size in both. It's no hassle to swap an item, if your first choice is not the best fit.
If you're struggling to find exactly what you need in the Outskirts™ women's range, check out our men's products for further options. Jackets, tights and baggy tops often fit both men and women equally well. Remember to adjust down a size (women's medium approximates men's small). Selected products are also available in XS (approximately women's small) to provide a more complete range.

A hot 'n' cold top that propels you at the speed limit across the gap between summer and winter. Its WindFoil™ front takes the edge off biting winds while the Heatwave™ Merino sucks sweat away from your skin to keep you dry and comfy. Lickety split.

Thanks For Your Review
We value your feedback. If you're stoked with your Ground Effect kit then you might like to share it (the review not the gear) with your mates. Thanks again.
Very comfortable with lots of room in the pockets. Good body and arm length for a great fit. Can be zipped up to the neck and the merino on the front provides great coverage when riding in the chilly Wellington winds. Full length arms are a benefit for sun protection.
I think this is our third one of these tops. Perfect all season riding top, except for the hottest of days. The wind block front is excellent at protecting your chest from a head wind, while the merino breathes well. I have 2 of these in the men’s version and bought one for my wife. It fits her well with a nice cut and I expect that she will get just as much wear out of it as I have with mine.
I started wearing Ground effect tops when I was doing a lot of cycling, and of course, they are great for that purpose. More recently though, my main sporting activity is equestrian - in particular CTR's. These tops are exceptionally good in that environment, being weather friendly - not too hot, not too cold; protecting arms and the back of the neck from sun strike, and above all, useful, safe, pockets! I thoroughly recommend them. My only grizzle over recent years is they used to have a winter weight, polar fleece type equivalent that has been phased out. More recent winter tops have been nowhere near as useful.
