The chart is a guide only. If you fall in-between sizes, the right size for you will depend on your body shape, height and how loose or tight you like to wear your clothes. Measurements refer to your body not the garment. Jackets and baggies are sized to fit over under-layers - so you should be the same size in both. It's no hassle to swap an item, if your first choice is not the best fit.

As always exceptional quality and fit
This is my 3rd GE jacket with the Hydrofoil fabric. The 2nd one I generally left folded up in my pannier & the fabric eventually delaminates into a continual shower of micro plastic snowflakes over the years. So for the 3rd jacket I was determined to look after it better, leaving it hanging in the wardrobe for airing when not in use to keep it dry. Now I find the same thing starting to happen again. The hood is generally the 1st part to start delaminating. In years gone the lifespan of a good jacket was determined by wear & tear, but now with hi-tech fabrics other aspects determine the life span. I've had this jacket 6 years. Now Ernie may say that good value but I respectively disagree and won't be buying another jacket using Hydrofoil fabric. I'd have given a 5-star rating if it weren't for this issue; these aren't cheap garments & I expect better.
Thanks for your review Andrew, I have replied via email, regards Ernie
Awesome jacket that doesn't flap when you ride like others. Very Waterproof. Highly recommend.
At 5am in the dark i set off cycling into torrential cold rain on the Kopiko Aotearoa. The jacket was equal to the task. A great purchase. Warm & dry, no complaints.
I bought this coat because I'd heard good things. I am a big human, 196 cm tall and 120 kg. The coat fits perfectly, sleeves are long enough, the tail at the back actually covers my bum. Fantastic, a short ride in the rain and I was dry, packs down small. Brilliant.
