Good points (so far): hasn't retained any BO smell, not too warm to wear in Queensland Australia in late summer (temperature around 30 C and humidity around 80%). Now the weather is starting to cool down ("cool" according to Queensland) and the early morning temperatures are starting to go below 20 C, the merino layer is providing a much appreciated bit of warmth. Not so good points (not bad points): sleeves are a bit short for my comfort preference (and also expose more arm to the sun), not a big fan of the zip across the pocket at the back - I don't use the pockets much and the zip is an obvious presence (although I have gotten used to it). Fit is a bit looser compared to the "race fit" of my other cycling jerseys, again not bad just not something I'm used to. I will most likely buy another jersey of this type.
I already have had the long sleeve Berglar for (mild Auckland) autumn/winter but love this for summer rides. Bonus are the bright colour options (could you add Limelight too?) and lack of prominent branding*. Quality construction and good fit. * bugs me so much cycle kit is black and/or sponsor logo'ed
Comfortable, relaxed fit. Long tail is great and the merino helps cut the chill when you're going downhill. I wear it all year round.
Good quality top. Nice fabric and good all year round. Perhaps not as hardy as their tops of old. The zipper came off mine after some pretty heavy wear on a 2 week cycle tour and hance the top ended up in the bin. All their gear is generously sized so beware. I am 5'10" and 70kgs and the Medium is pretty loose. So if you are unsure on sizing or prefer a more traditional fitted look - perhaps size down.
