Rugged, baggy and brutally handsome shorts with an integrated liner. Loose fitting but not excessive - so you won't get tangled with your seat on those steep descents... but still maintain your composure when ordering up a short black.

Really happy with the Double Happys i received as a gift 15 to 20 yrs (?) ago (I'm now 53). They're still going strong, though had got some holes in the pockets, and had also become ripped during a prang I had recently. So I bought another pair. Hoping they will be as long lasting and durable as my first pair. Really great quality. I definitely recommend.
About 25 years ago I bought a two pairs of Double Happy’s They are very tough thick black Cotten pants with builtin liners and a belt adjuster to fit waist I LOVE the robust style -100% built to last I still have them and they are used regularly Although on one set the backside is showing signs of wear which is probably crash induced Recently I purchased another two sets of Double Happy’s I was surprised by the upgraded version Yes they are lighter ( but I’m not a gram freak ) I prefer the older style tough canvas look The New style Happy’s are probably cooler to wear The inner seat liner is a better fit and super comfortable They have a zipper on the front which the older Happy’s didn’t have This makes life a lot easier for nature stops The pockets are zipped like the original pants They have a press lock stud on the front replacing the belt The hips have Convenient Velcro straps for waist adjustments To Summarise I have four sets of Happy’s Two older style which are still use after 25 years Two of the current version which are more convenient and comfortable If the new set last as long as my originals I’ll be 90 years old and past my best before date The thing I’ve learnt about Ground Effect is they are comfortable, tuff and built to last I also have couple of their tops Which are also 25 years old I plan the purchase some new riding shirts soon These are light weight and are looking a bit tired And this is not a complaint - just a fact of the test from time
Hard to find shorts that fit (I'm short and thick framed!). These are size large - fit my 36 inch waste, length is around the knees (174cm tall) so they sit nicely when riding and I almost pass as a grom riding at CAP, despite middle age. Comfy, feel good when riding, and blue's my favourite colour. Absolutely stoked with this purchase.
