Flatliners deliver less bulk and more breathability under your baggies than their padded siblings. Perfect for when your bum is not getting a pounding during quick laps of the bike park or while shuttling your local trails.

The comfort of the chamois-less flatliners was a pleasant surprise. Despite initial skepticism they proved to be supremely comfortable on a big day of shuttling Nelson trails last Saturday. With dropper post keeping my seat well out of the way, my *** time was limited and the pared down liner was definitely a step up in breeziness compared with a chamois equipped liner. A day of sifting/smack talking and I forgot about them, which is always a good sign!
Have just riden the Dunn Mountain , Copper Mine trail over 45 km’s and the Flatliners performed real well , this is my first ride wearing them , i certainly recommend this product ,
Road for 3 days straight in Thredbo (XC and lift access) with no issues. There is no padding, but that seems to work for me (I'm on a pretty well padded Selle SMP saddle though!). They dry quick which can be useful...nothing worse than a soggy chamois.
My daily commute ride is a fully enclosed recumbent velomobile. I still like to wear tight cycle shorts, although not strictly necessary. Certainly don’t need the usual padding though. The Flatliners are absolutely magic for me! Cool with an almost non see through mesh to cater for modesty. I’ll probably give them a whirl on my two wheeler low racer recumbent when the temperatures warm up a bit. For the velomobile, without a doubt the best shorts I’ve come across!
