Whitianga Bike Park

The Whitianga Bike Club began toiling away in 2004 developing mtb trails on land leased to them by the Thames Coromandel District Council. The Slush Fund started helping the Club out in 2005 with dosh. This has provided the funding for a decent wash stand, loads of signage, and replacement tools for gear stolen from their lock up. In 2012 we funded the purchase of a large self driving wide cut mower to keep the park spick and span.

In 2023 the hunt is on to replace the Whitianga Bike Park & Community Gardens site with a new and more appropriate spot specifically for mountain biking trails. Keep an eye on Facebook for updates.
