Arapuke MTB Park - Palmerston Nth
The Manawatu Mountain Bike Club are the masterminds behind the Arapuke Mtb Park in Arapuke Forest. The park is owned by Palmerston North City Council, with trail development managed by the club. Back in 2013 they had a new tool shed and Ground Effect helped out with $1000 from the Slush Fund for two new wheelbarrows and the usual shovels, spades and rakes.
Fast forward to 2020 and they have 30km of Grade 2 - 6 trails, including a national level downhill trail and a skills area, and some brand new signs slush funded by Ground Effect.
