The Central West Cycle Trail (CWC) has been researched and developed by volunteers to provide cyclists with a 400km countryside loop ride on the safest and quietest back roads in the Tablelands region of NSW.
The Ground Effect Slush Fund contributed $1100 to help with the CWC set up costs including a new website, incorporation of the organisation and stickers to mark the trail. The circuit winds its way through the Tablelands passing by Mudgee, Gulgong, Dunedoo, Mendooran, Dubbo and Wellington. The trail is well supported by businesses providing accommodation, meals and refreshments, bike hire and repairs. Cyclists are taking 3 to 7 days to complete the round trip.
The trail is marked with small yellow CWC stickers. Digital maps and 'trip notes' can be found on www.centralwestcycletrail.com.au and you can keep up with the latest news via Facebook.
