Hanmer Springs Mtb Club
The Hanmer Springs Mtb Club might be small in membership but has a trail network under its wing that is used all year round by holidaymakers from across the motu. The Ground Effect Slush Fund donated $2000 towards an eBarrow to help move material about on the hilly terrain.
Passionate volunteers have built almost all of the Hanmer trails, and there is huge scope for further development. Tombstone took over 1300 volunteer hours to complete. The club are keen to add two down lines off Tombstone. Plus a new climbing trail is also in the planning stage.
