- +How waterproof are these shoe covers?

- The fabric is completely waterproof, but if you are riding in persistent and/or heavy rain - water will eventually run down your legs and gradually irrigate your socks.
- So not bulletproof, but in those conditions they will still keep your feet warmer and drier than naked shoes.
- +How durable are they?

- Shoe covers are intended for riding not walking - so generally the domain of the tarmac rather than the backcountry.
- Abrasion to the fabric on the underside of the shoe cover will dramatically shorten its life.
- Shoe covers should be used with clip-in pedals. They are not compatible with flats - the constant contact between shoe and pedal accelerates fabric abrasion.

New ZealandToasty Toes
Got these a few weeks back to keep my feet dry when I'm commuting to work. Nothing worse than spending the day in wet shoes and socks. I had an opportunity to test them last week and they work like a charm. Dry and toasty toes after a 30 min commute in the rain. The only issue I have(with all the products I looked at) is they are designed for road shoes so a bit of a tight fit over chunky MTB shoes.

Great fit for me, I got size 45/46 & fairly skinny ankles but fit is good & snug. When road is wet & raining reasonably hard shoes do get wet about half way in to 30 minute commute. Great for lighter rain & wet roads after rain...no problem, also good for keeping toasty! Just don't expect them to be miracle workers. Overall they do make a difference & they so far seem pretty well made. Good service from GroundEffect as always! Cheers Troy.

I'm loving my new shoe covers. This time I picked the right size S. They fit perfectly, love the back zip & especially find the velcro straps under the foot an added bonus for putting on & taking off the covers. Speedy delivery as per usual from Ground Effects. Well done team. :)
