Maximum protection for cycling in nasty conditions. Waterproof liner repels moisture, insulation repels cold and lobster claw design allows your fingers to keep each other warm while maintaining dexterity to hang onto handlebars and brake levers.
We recently upgraded our waterproof clothing for a planned winter cycling trip to the Victorian Rail Trails. After extensive research and checking of reviews, we settled on the "100% Waterproof" Sealskins for myself and partner. We got a chance to test our waterproof outer layers at the Midnight Oils concert held at Commonwealth Park in Canberra on the 19th April. It rained throughout the support bands and the Oils cancelled due to the rain at 9pm. The gloves were useless! Totally soaked through after the first hour of rain, leaving me wondering if they had forgotten to apply waterproofing to our sets! After reading and believing the reviews about these unusually designed gloves, they turned out to be an expensive waste of money. While they were nice when the weather was cold and dry, I'm sure we could have spent much less than $129 to keep our hands warm.
Hi Neil, thanks for your feedback. Sounds like we need to get those back to suss out. We're email you the details. Pedal on, Ernie

I get frozen fingers when riding from autumn onwards and generally use hand warmers and poly-props under gloves but these have proved themselves very good at keeping my fingers warm and dry without additional heating and insulation so far this year (it’s now a cool June) Fit is great, easy for gear changes. Definitely recommended.
This claw style glove does initially feel different , but I think this style offers more finger warmth , in extreme cold riding , than the standard waterproof gloves .They do keep your hands warm and dry, but do struggle with the fit. I would suggest ordering “at least “, one size larger.
Well they definitely keep my hands and fingers toasty warm and bone dry. Full marks for that. I don't like the camel toe look.
