Tyre Easy-On

15 reviews

Minor incompatibility between rim depth and tyre bead circumference can lead to a near impossible struggle when fitting a new tyre. And it's doubly challenging not to puncture your tube in the process. Just like with a car tyre, the Tyre Easy-On pivots on one rim, grabs the opposite bead and stretches it on. A workshop sanity-saver.

      Tyre easy-on

Great device for puttting a tight tyre onto a rim without pinching the tube. My fingers are not up to getting some tyres onto the rim such as a racing tyre or a heavy road tyre on a 26 inch mountain bike rim. I was able to get this done on my mountain bike with relative ease and can unreservedly recommend this tool. I will take it with me whenever using the mountain bike on the road. Bruce Martin

      Easy on

Excellent, worked as advertised and one of those inventions which has you wondering why no one has done this before. No more jammed fingers trying to fit tight tyres, worked especially well when fitting tubeless

      Easy-On

A great tool to get that tyre bead over the rim when your fingers and thumbs are just not strong enough or too cold. Light enough to be part of the every day riding repair kit.

      Works well

My husband loves it and has attached it to his bike to help with punctures while riding.

      Tyre Easy On

I was riding GP 5000 foldable tyres and punctured on unseal out in the wilderness behind Lake Kanieri. I was unable to change the tube and rode home on a flat tyre. I researched tools that enabled reseating the tyre and this Tyre jack came up as the best. I was quite excited to try it and changed two tyres but could not get it to work. The part that was meant to grab the bead and jack it onto the tyre kept slipping off. Found it really frustrating and resorted to using normal tyre levers. This was with wired tyres and maybe it works better with Kevlar beaded ones. Also because I am over 70 maybe I do not have the hand strength to work this tool. However at the same time I bought an Afterburner Jacket and have nothing but praise for that. I especially like the side pockets at the back - very roomy - because of the “WhaleTail”. I carried 4 sandwiches on my last 200km ride without any effort at all. Excellent colour, protection, material - I would give it 5 stars.

Hi Bruce, thanks for your review. Sorry the Tyre Easy On has not worked as you had hoped. This has not been our experience with it. We will email you to see what we can do. Pedal on, Ernie
