I have always found Ground Effect great to deal with - goods ordered via email have been dispatched immediately and on the odd occasion I have had to change an item due to ill fitting its been without fuss and without delay. Cannot fault the servise and the quality of goods purchased. Really appreciate what you guys are putting back into the community by way of financial support and track working bees - keep up the good work Rgs Trevor
I recently purchased a pair of these for my wife to do her spin classes, after extolling the virtues of the quality and longevity of your products. After a handful of sessions, I am pleased to report a smiley face emoticon.
The quickdraws keep the sun off the back of my hands and the no-Velcro means they don't stick to other clothes in the washing machine.
Overall, these are OK. They don't seem as hardy as mtb gloves should be, and are made of stretchy material (on top of the hand) which is more at home on a road cycling glove. I am a 'large', and although the top of the glove fits very well (on top of the hand), the paw (the bit against the handle bar) feels ill-fitted. So they feel a bit strange. The 'hinge' or gap in the sponge on the paw is just where there should be maximum grip on the handle bars, so they distort a bit under load. The thumb doesn't cover your entire thumb, just up to the knuckle. I quite liked the covered thumb of the old design, for days when your metal gear shifter levers are cold. For the price, they're good, but for those looking for a hardy glove that'll last you years at 'old school ground effect quality levels: look elsewhere.
Hi Grant. Thanks for your comments. We've gone down the path of lighter and more fitted gloves due to demand, but rest assured we'll take your comments on board. Ernie
