Very happy with Flash Gordon. Great product. Great for wet days. Great for windy cold days. Great for those days that turn out hot during your ride. Whip the sleeves out and carry on.
On to my third Flash Gordon now - seem to need a new one every ten years or so... :-D Each one has been excellent, yet somehow they improve each time too. Definitely my go-to jacket for any ride - on-, near-, or off-road - when the weather isn't playing nice.
For over a decade I have been wearing a Flash Gordon. The last one still had life in it so I passed it on to my wife while I went on for an upgrade. Versatile with the sleeveless vest option. Excellent wind proofness. Light and easy to wear.
I bought my Flash Gordon 8 years ago in 2014. It has served me well as my rain jacket and wind layer for Melbourne winters. The inside layer has decayed over the last year or two around the top or the shoulder and spine, on both vest and bolero yoke. Not surprising giving the use. I commute 1/2 each way 5 days a week, (excepting covid lockdowns and and habituation). It’s kept me dry enough under rain over those 8 years, and I’ve used it as a vest over my Berglar most cooler days. So versatile! And now I’ll continue to use it for many more kms, as my wind layer, as I’ve just bought a new Sormtrooper for wet days. Cheers!
