Bought these by mistake in that I thought I was getting boot covers. But glad I made the mistake, Really warm and useful when I am out on the tractor on cold frosty or wet days.
This product is satisfactory between about 2 and 8 degrees. Once temp gets into negative my toes still go numb. Service and delivery no problem
I got these as my riding shoes let a lot of air in. I found that after a decent ride my toes were numb. The Lucifers have fixed this issue.
Got these to keep my toes warm during my winter commute and am very pleased indeed. The San Francisco East Bay winter may not be as cold as some places, but days can be damp, cold, and windy. These socks, in combination with my usual shoe covers, are quite effective. My previously popsicle toes are now toasty toasty. I’ll be ordering a few more pair.
Bought these after reading the reviews as I get cold toes on the chilly mornings on my daily (40 min each way) commute during the winter. The quality is good and the wind blocking fabric has meant the top of my feet are definitely warmer but the seam sits across my toes so they haven’t had the effect I’d hoped for and my toes are still as cold as they are without the Lucifers. I’ve paired them with Footsolders and thicker Zigzags with the same outcome. If the Windfoil fabric was extended to wrap around under the toes I think they would have been perfect, so my rating reflects that they didn’t solve the problem I purchased them for. As I said above the quality is good. My feet are UK11, Euro 46, I purchased Large size and they fit ok (albeit with the seam across, not under, my toes). Can’t win them all I guess.
