Have made winter riding much more comfy. When worn with 3/4 merino pants look steezy as too. Compression perfect for after ride recovery but not so tight you can't just wear them as slippers.
On a recent cycle trip to south Australia the Shindigs were ideal for cold mornings. they were warm and comfortable, gave support to feet and calves and stayed up without slipping all day.
I've only done two serious road rides with these, and yet am a big fan! Warm toes, warm feet, warm lower legs. They stay up really well and are very comfy. On cold Taranaki mornings, I'm finding these to be an excellent addition to regular bike shorts.
I bought these for my wife. She loves them. Comfortable, warm and they stay where you put them.
