Great bibs for wearing under the old MTB baggies. Nice and long in the thigh. Same goes for the Ringleaders.
I've used Ringleaders for years, and really prefer the Exocet chamois pad to the older nappy style pads, so I was happy to see the Stowaways. They work very well with Snipers, or a pair of Gore SoftShell shorts for grotty weather. Hope they last as well as other Groundeffect shorts.
I purchased these for my 17 year old son to ride in, He mainly rides trail and enduro style. After two weeks of riding most days; with washing each night, the reviews i got were: "good", "great", "sweet" etc. So translating this to mean they were really comfortable and wore well under his outer shorts.
I'm mightily impressed with my new Stowaways. I've been happily using Ringleaders for a few years now and have several pairs such that they're the only knicks I use these days. As I always wear the Ringleaders under baggies I recently decided to try out the Stowaways. I couldn't be happier. They're supremely comfortable, just like the Ringleaders but the greater use of mesh really does help to keep things cooler on hot summer rides. Can't comment on their long-term durability as a consequence of all that mesh, but they feel much more robust than I anticipated and I expect to them to last well - as usual for GE gear. The pocket is a great idea.
I've used a lot of bike clothing products over many years and always been impressed by the Ground effect products. The Stowaways are no different, comfortable even on the hottest days working in conjunction with the Juggernauts quite simply stunning, leaving me free to concentrate on riding and not my on bike comfort!
