Pillow

After years of using spare clothing for a pillow I decided to splash out on a dedicated pillow. I'm really happy with my purchase, it's small, weighs next to nothing and is really comfy. After a trial and error I found that it's best not to blow it up completely and to slip it inside the pillow case of my inner sheet sleeping bag.

STS Aeros Pillow

Ultra compact, ultra lightweight and very comfortable for an inflatable pillow - definitely much nicer than a rolled up icebreaker! The surface is also really nice, meaning there's no need to wrap it in a t-shirt. The level of inflation is easily adjustable meaning you can set it up just how you like it.

Comfort in a tiny package

The packed size of the Aeros pillow is unbelievably small. My immediate reaction was can this do the job and will I get it back into its sack. The answer in both cases is yes. It inflates with a couple of puffs through a clever valve to deliver a comfortable pillow, the material is soft and flexible. And yes having deflated it through the clever valve it goes back in its sack the size of a matchbox. It is so small and yet delivers so much comfort I can see no reason not to take one on any expedition where a pillow would add to your comfort.
