light bit of gear but still keeps the cold out , take it on every ride in case wind chill picks up or rain ,and my wife has started using it on morning runs now that its colder , Brendon
I’ve been wearing The Phantom on my regular rides along the Bunarong Coast here in southern Victoria and it’s perfect for those intermittent showers that come scudding across from the Southern Ocean. The high visibility is comforting on grey dark mornings.
There are things we know, things we know that we don't know and things we don't know that we don't know. The Phantom was the latter and is now the former. I had no idea I needed this jacket until I used it for the first time. Now it goes everywhere with me, because it can. It's tiny and tough and cool looking, like Mini Me in his white suit. This is the coolest, most versatile outer layer ever. Now you know you need one.
I have bought a lot of Ground Effect gear and I bought the Phantom for riding with my wife on the tandem. However, I have used it off the bike on our road trip from Cairns to Canberra as a wind breaker and sun stopper. It fits in your pocket and can be used on boats and bush walking to get you out of trouble. It's warm and looks great anywhere. The price is right for such a well engineered garment. Nice attention to detail. Ground Effect have done it again.
Extra lightweight but sooooo effective at keeping out wind and rain. Has made a world of difference on those cold morning and evening rides.
